Contributing to Narcotics Anonymous

We are Self-supporting

In adherence to our 7th Tradition which states that:

“Every NA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.”

The MASC only accepts donations from Narcotics Anonymous members and groups.

By encouraging groups to pay their own way, the Seventh Tradition gives the Mountain Area the freedom to share its recovery as it sees fit, not obligated to outside contributors. Further, it gives our area the freedom that comes from inner strength, the strength that develops through applying spiritual principles.

Other ways to contribute:

Show up and welcome a newcomer.

Sweep the floor, help stack chairs, or empty the trash. When we leave the meeting room, it should be as clean as, or cleaner than, it was when we arrived.

Give time and energy in service to groups.

Give needed goods and supplies to groups or service committees.

Give money at the meetings you attend. Remember, a dollar can’t buy as much today as it used to.

Contribute directly to each level of service.

Make clean date contributions of money or literature to your home group, or annual contributions for each year clean to NAWS, or both.

Some members make arrangements to leave a specified amount of money to NA in their will or estate, or contribute in memory of a deceased member.

If you use drugs, that's your problem. If you want to stop, that's ours. Find a Meeting
